The Parent Resource Centre’s Parent Support Services aim to provide client-centered, trauma-informed parenting support services with minimal access barriers.
Parent Support Services currently provides services to parents with children in transition. These children may be those involved with the Children’s Aid Society, those having difficulty functioning in mainstream schooling, those being re-integrated into their family of origin after prolonged separation or those with mental health concerns on their journey to wellness. Services are available to parents with children between the ages of 0 and 18 years of age.

A parenting program for parents with children 0-6 years of age involved
with the Children's Aid Society of Ottawa
This 10 week parenting course allows participants to discuss and learn hands-on techniques on topics that are most important to families with young children. Each session involves sharing information and active group work to practice what is discussed.

Participants must register before the program begins. An intake form will be completed with each person over the phone.
This course is appropriate for parents that have been requested/mandated to take a parenting course who may or may not have their children in their care.
There is no cost for this program.
