This StoryWalk® took place at our Growing Up Downtown Playgroup located at the corner of Laurier Ave. and Lyon St. Although the weather didn't permit us to have the walk outside as planned, we improvised and set up the story throughout the hallway of the building and the playgroup space. Each child received a flashlight just like Franklin has in the story, which the children used to illuminate each page of the story. They even used the flashlights to illuminate their snacks after the story was done. The children and adults had a wonderful time enjoying a new way to read a story.
