In celebration of Family Literacy Day, the Parent Resource Centre (PRC) coordinated a StoryWalk® in Sandy Hill using Ezra Jack Keat’s award-wining and classic book The Snowy Day. Three kindergarten classes from Viscount Alexander Public School participated, along with their teachers, the school principal and parent volunteers. Parents, caregivers and children from the PRC drop-in playgroup also did the walk, as did Mathieu Fleury, City Coucillor for Rideau-Vanier Ward.
